What should I do if I have a problem regarding water services ?

Use the call center of the PAEW to convey your complaint if water flow is not good. If you believe that the meter is not recording water consumption accurately (The bill value is higher then you expect), Customer Relations Section at your region during working hours (7.30 to 2.30). You also have to fill in the relevant from and pay OR10 for the meter of 1-inch diameter and OR30 for meters of bigger sizes. 50% of the value of the previous bill should be paid before the checking process takes place. Checking will include examining the meter, water pipes and cables. If it is proved that there is defect, it will be repaired at the account of the consumer. The Consumer should also repair any defect that exists in pipes or cables and pay the value of any extra consumption.

How can I connect or disconnect water ?

In case that water disconnected because of not paying the bills, you have to refer to the Customer Relations Section responsible for disconnection of such service and pay an extra amount of OR10 for the reconnection of the service. What are the specifications of water meters approved by the PAEW ?

The Authority approves multi-jet meters "double-jet", or water meters that match ISO class and C specification of sizes up-to 25 millimeters. Such specifications provide meters of best quality for accuracy and they have longer lifetime. Both features are suitable for consumers' needs.
