The Authority participated in the exhibition held along with the International Conferance on Drought Management Strategies in Arid and Semi Arid Regions that is organised by Ministery of Regional Municipality and Water Resources. The four days Conferance discuss the importance of water resources conservation and integrated water resources management for the arid and semi arid regions.

In collaboration with Marketing section and Water Quality Department, PAEW visited some schools in Muscat as a part of Water Conservation Campaign. This campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of water conservation which has proven as an effective strategy to educate students about saving water.
This initiatives came along with the World and PAEW in particular, celebration of the World Water Day 2011.
