PAEW implementing 25 km of water network in port of Duqm

Public Authority for Electricity and Water Implement the Project supply potable water to the port of Duqm distribution network exceeding the length of 25 km
. This project is under the management of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water & jointly with Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority.
Engineer Obaid bin Said Shukri, projects director at the Public Authority for Electricity and Water said: a local company to implement the project, which have been selected according to the criteria approved technical controls. The company began work on the project in the beginning of the month of April 2015 & expected to finish the project during the first quarter of next year 2017.
The project includes the creation station to strengthen the pumping capacity (105 liters/s) and set up stations to pump each with a capacity (30 liters/s) and the creation of tank capacity (3,200 m3) and create another tank capacity (2400 m3), and increases the longer pipes used in the project ( 30 km) and the diameters and different types where this phase covers an area of more than (25 km)
Engineer Obaid Shukairi explained that this project comes as one of the important infrastructure that covers large areas of the port and responsive to the requirements of all the projects that have been completed or projects that are being implemented or planned projects in the near future projects.
